Maysalward R&D (MRD) develops and launches casual BlackBerry quiz game for Umniah

Amman, Jordan – March 9, 2011

“We are proud to work again with Umniah in promoting their new BlackBerry service” says Nour Khrais, GM and founder of Maysalward R&D.    Nour adds “ Umniah required a simple and causal quiz to increase awareness on their new BlackBerry service which was launched less than a month ago.  Using Facebook as a communication channel for the targeted segment, a simple educational app on the service was developed and launched targeting the youth segment and how to subscribe to the service.”

Umniah BlackBerry Trivia App, is the second Facebook app developed by MRD for Umniah.  The first Facebook game was Uman, as a branding game for Umniah customers in particular and mobile users in general to play the game and win prizes.  Top users competed with each other for the highest score with Umniah services promoted in game.

Nour also added “ We also launched the first local card game on the BlackBerry, TRIX.   We Launched TRIX end of 2004 on several handsets including Nokia, Sony Ericsson & Siemens.  Today we have TRIX and other regional games on all major handsets and platforms.  BlackBerry has a significant base with estimates of 2 million in the region, and it was natural to have TRIX available.”    Nour added “We will also add other games very shortly such as Tarneeb, Balot & others.  TRIX is currently available as single player on BlackBerry and will add to it different versions including Multiplayer, TRIX Complex and cross platform gaming.  Customers or players, will be able to compete with other players who are on other OS platforms or online.”

TRIX is available on the BlackBerry 9780, 9700, 9300, 9000, 8900, 8320, 8100  and on the BlackBerry Torch
